Kumphawhapi

We just returned from a 3 week trip to visit family in Europe. Due to this I have not been able to update the blog as I usually do. Just before we left we found out that Elder Proctor had been transferred. He is now in Kumphawapi a small town in the Southern part of Udon Thani Province, northeastern Thailand.
So I have been transferred to Kumphawhapi the city of monkeys!! Yes, I have already feed the monkeys.  The place I now reside in, is the smallest in the mission. It is about as big as Herriman, when we first moved there, maybe as big as Manila, Utah- Flaming Gorge area. To be honest, I have no idea why I have been moved here. It came out of the blue. I was told on Tuesday that I needed to be in Bangkok on Wednesday. Yeah needlessly to say, I cannot have a companion for longer then six weeks or something (He had his first companion for 6 weeks and his second one for 3)... but whatever I  am on an adventure!  It has been a crazy past couple of days. Right now I am visiting another area in my district it is called Udorn. The place i live is so small that all that there is a Walmart -like grocery store.... yeah I am in the "boonies" but it sure is pretty!  BTWS you apparently sensed the future or something I remember you saying hey have you been transferred yet? Haha you are good mum! My new companion's name is Elder Flanary. He has been here for three months. (i.e. Khumps not Thailand!) It is a pretty crazy life the missionary life! Sadly I did not get the chance to pass those out (I had sent him some Greg Olson pictures to pass out to some of the members) for the transfer came as a surprise. Usually you have a week to prep, I had a day. I kinda just packed way fast and got ready to go to the City of Angels (Bangkok). Kumphawaoi is basically  what you think Thailand looks like. It is all green and "foresty" that's basically where I live now! I have gotten to know the Branchpresident very well!( We later found out that his companion is a member in the bishopric) It is a great place, the Lord knows what he is doing. He is prepping me for something I guess.!
Lots of Love (lol)
