Transfers December 14

We went to transfers and then ... nothing happened we were...Yeah lots of elders found out that day that they would be moving hahah it was way funny yeah. I love seeing my friends. It's always fun to see those kids. I love my friends!!!  I am not coming home. I am going to be a  missionary forever! I love being  a missionary. It is so much fun! This week was what I call a" pday ".
We went to stake conference and well the stake now has a patriarch. It's so cool. I love this work its the best work ever I love it. The miracle this week was that I am realizing my purpose here in this area. I  have been hoping for an opportunity to help those that are a lost and help them come back!

Mormons seem to have horns after all!

Miracles December 7

Well this week went by very fast... too fast to be honest. The spirit of Christmas is a fantastic thing! You know it helps me feel so happy, always, no matter the hardships or trials I go through. It's nothing because with the love of Christ you can overcome anything. Well this week was the 12th week with no baptisms and 2nd week with no investigators at church. In all honesty, we have no investigators, but all is well, for the Lord has a grander plan, which I have yet to find out what it is. So we are adapting and letting the Lord change us into the person that he wants us to become!
Awesome miracles of the week,  being able to have one more Christmas in Thailand and oh man i love singing Christmas songs!
A miracle that happened this week, that I find swell and odd.... so we were inviting and I walked up to this lady, who is about to close the door to her store and I asked her if she wants to be cleansed of her sins. She looked at me and laughed and slammed the door in my face. I was like OK...?..reason being was that the spirit has prompted me to go and invite her and I was super confused. As we were walking around the corner, she came sprinting out of the door and started shouting at us that she was interested. We stopped and she told us that she thought that I had asked if she wanted to wash her fish...?... In Thai when you say บาป  incorrectly it sounds like ปลา. (There is your Thai lesson for the day). In all honesty, I have been sick this whole week BWHAHAH....
Another miracle happened while we were sitting at the house getting ready to teach a recent convert. While on the phone, I  had a feeling to get out and go "invite" some more. I told Elder Beebe and we went out and started inviting at about 8:15 at night. When out of no where comes a less active member and starts teaching with us while we are inviting. The less active members then asks us if we want to come to his house and teach his mom and we are... LIKE YES! So we went and taught her. Turns out she was taught by the elders 10 years ago and she remembered the Plan of Salvation as well as prayer, AWESOME!
We are working on getting a Christmas tree...if not I will just go into the swamp behind the house and cut a tree down form there hahahha.
At zone conference I got a blueprint of the Plan of Happiness, oh so cool! Also another cool moment ...there are now missionary sisters in Laos .WWOOOOOH! The work is hastening, yes we were caroling its so fun!

I got to talk to President Senior. I had been feeling pretty low because, well this area was supposed to grow very fast and its not and I felt like I had failed pretty bad. He told me how grateful he was for me. I was so happy to hear that and I felt like God was telling me that.
We travelled for about 2 hours to get to where we were caroling. Well yeah then we took a train home.
This morning we had a spider the size of a dollar bill on the ceiling. It was crazy fast... I took out a electric fly swatter and took it out yeah.I am going to go and find someone hungry and feed them, visit the sick and clothe the naked.

I love you.

Never forget the joy this message brings you! November 30

I was in a Christmas program on Saturday. It was a miracle that I could sing. I had lost my voice that very day, yeah I have not had my voice for almost 2 days. It's back now so don't worry! It was a devotional about how we need to remember the importance of Christmas. Ttomorrow we are going caroling, it's gonna be great! I see Elder Black weekly, because I interview his investigators viaskype. It's always fun to see him  and to hear his testimony.

I am sorry that my grammar is rubbish. I don't speak proper English in this country ever... lolz
I do what i am told to do....  I know it because my mother knows it.......

Well thisThanksgiving was like last years....  I  had a fried chicken...it was tiny.....
well marriage is big thing its quite important

YAY for Family Home Evening...(I told him how we had put up our Christmastree) We are thinking of getting a Christmas tree and what not because... well it's not very "Christmasy" here .....no snow and no spirit of Christmas.
Well let's see..... this week we went and just walked and talked with everyone but no investigators at church, which kinda tanked. We have no investigators at this moment still (we have not had investigators at church in like a month...) but you know what- the Lord has a plan. We cannot comprehend. We just need to press on and help those who have fallen from the gospel and help them grasp the iron rod once more. (Lehi's dream in the Book of Mormon.  Because- well this gospel is the most important thing, next to life!
We really spent the whole day on foot. We walked to a market that was 10 kilometers away, so we could find those that were ready to hear the gospel.  Sadly, no success. We really have walked so far and talked so much, but the Lord is in the workings.  He knows better then we do- in all things
I now see everyone as a future temple president or relief society president or a future couple sealed in a temple.
Every one is on the same path home  We all are walking treading the path of those who are lost.
We seek prayingly and wonder is there anyone there to hear our prayers?
As we feel the despair all around us a thought crosses my mind, is there hope?
As the prophets of ole declare, fear not the Lord is there!
We have a duty, we have a calling, a divine destiny if you wish to bring the great and glorious message to those who are lost and show to them the despair is not real.
We need to show the world there is someone there to hear their prayer. He is waiting with arms wide open.He hears and cries when we cry. He rejoices when we rejoice.
Christ is always there and so is the Father. Never forget the joy this message gives.

Super short and to the point ..... November 23

It was a fun week. There was lots of walking and talking, as missionaries do. It was quite fun! I love walking and talking with those that are Thai.

Well, super funny moment in church... the opening prayer was the Lord's prayer. It was really funny. As he starts, I am sitting there and as he starts it sounds somewhat similar to what I had read in the scriptures.... and well he said," Lord forgive us as we forgive our debtors"... and then it all clicked and I was taken aback.

You are telling me this year has sailed by. Before I even know it, I will be in a plane.... aghh.
Time flies here! It's super fun!

I love my comp. He is a awesome! It's a very fun time serving with him. I love this work. It's the Lord's work and it is to bring them back to the fold.

Adventures of the week..... well, we had a wild pig the size of a cow appear by the church. The beast was massive! Well lets see what happened that was super exciting hmm...... well I ate blood-filled food... I also found out that I  cannot eat squid. It makes me super sick,,,,,,

This week was a week of going out and hunting down those that are lost already and finding those that are ready. We went and invited as hard as we could. We were striving to achieve a goal of having 100 at church well we fell short 35 people. Ouch!

I have slowly come to the conclusion why I am here in Attuyaha. There are a few families here that I have known since Kumpahwapi. I am here to bring them back. I am also here to help out this white  man and his wife come back.  They are a fantastic family. He was a soldier and told us that God has sparred him to be here to help the work in Thailand. He was blown up once, was shot 5 times through many wars and he was bayoneted.

I am here in Thailand only for a short time now. I have so little time now its not even funny. I am not looking forward to coming home and facing the real world and all its darkness. I am so close to finishing. Christmas is almost here. This month is almost over. It's scary. I don't want to see the evilness in this world. I have started to realize  that I need to focus more on bringing those back that have strayed from the path. It's not good to leave the fold.If you leave you may never come back, unless you have help from the Lord and help from members.
I love this work. I know it to be true.

Elder Khanakam's visit- a true inspiration November 16

HELLO!
Hahah yeah I was going to mention it(just the minor detail that he had a camera crew follow him and his companion, Elder Howard around while they were talking to people on the streets of Bangkok.... )but I forgot sorry! It was quite fun. I really liked it to be honest .... I felt famous lolz ....that's why I am in Ayutthaya  to be a secret ninja! Hahah

People serving missions its the best! It makes life so super duper!! AAHHAHAHAHAH I am so glad Spencer is going on a mission. Miracles happen when you believe and have the faith to do it!
It was a way good week- well actually a very tough one- but ended very well. This past Sunday Elder Khanakam, who is a very good friend of mine ,(he is the Thai seventy) came and surprised our branch with a visit. I got to teach with him WOOAH! It was super fun. I had flashbacks to when I was a "greenie" with him in Khonkaen, He has a power around him. He is an awesome man. We spent the whole day talking with him and him teaching us. Oh so much fun, feeling the spirit and YEAHH!!!!
Sister Khanakam, his wife, had me share what it feels like to see someone change.
We were sitting in a branch counsel when she asked me to do that and I shared it with the members. The spirit was so strong there. It was an amazing experience. I felt the spirit literally burning n me like a fire  oh so cool! Elder Khanakam told the ward council that he wants us to be a ward by December 30.
The miracle of the week..... so 2 weeks ago our cellphone was destroyed by water while an investigator was calling it. We still have no clue how it happened.  Anyhow, the phone did not save her number and last week she did not come to English class. We had no way of contacting her. So on Wednesday Elder Beebe is like,  "Hey lets walk to the church to teach a Recent Convert", and I'm like...OK.. We get to to the church teach the recent convert. We finish teaching her at about 8:50 pm, so we close up the church and walk back. It's about 9:10pm when all of the sudden we hear someone shouting," ELDER ELDER!!!" We turn around and see this investigator pulling up in her car. She then asked if she could give us a ride and we told her no. But we were so excited to see her because we hadn't seen her in like 2 weeks. We got her phone number and sprinted home WOOAH!  MIRACLE! I LOVE THE GOSPEL!

Aaron on Thai TV. He can be seen throughout the show.

Going up the mountian holding on to the iron rod...... November 9

Well my new area is a freaking funtastic. I love it! It's super fun. It is super fun to go and explore it. The members are super willing and they love us. Sorry that this email came so late. I went on   freaking crazy hiking today. It was awesome! We climbed up to the top of a mountain. It was a super cool similitude of life. There was a iron rod in the middle of the path and in the beginning I didn't rely on it. But as the going got harder I would rely on it more and more until i was using it to heave myself up the mountain side as sweat was pouring down my whole body! As we came closer to the top we could see the gate to the wat and oh man it was a very happy time! We relied on the rod even more. As we all know the rod is the word of God (1. Ne 11:25).  In the begining you rely on yourself and as you go along in life you rely more and more on that word and core beliefs that push you on and on...That is my little soap box about the adventure 5555!

(I am following a Facebook page called Unseen Thailand. I had just shared a picture of a special Buddha- unbeknowst to me- Aaron visited that very Buddha during that time....)
My new comp is just like me.... spunky crazy and super willing to go to work and bring those back into the Kingdom of God.The world is a very small place and it well has some fun things happen in it.
So this past Saturday I was basically swimming in a swamp, pushing lily pads out all day long it was nasty- mind you Iam in a boat yeah! We live in a 100 percent Buddhist place. It's very pretty and there are many wonderful things here. I ride my bike daily and there are 4 of us here. We have Elder Gandun and Elder Heiner, two people I really like a lot! We also have good food everywhere. It is super yummy!
